Filipino boxer Donito Donaire will fight Rafael Concepcion for the World Boxing Association (WBA) interim superflyweight crown. Donaire, a Filipino-American born in Los Angeles California has been training for this fight. While Manny Pacquiao is negotiating for a Cotto fight after Mayweather injured himself.
After boxing, try watching classic fight movies particularly those of the Japanese kind.
For those of you who want to watch free Japanese movies, there's free film showing at the following places in celebration of the Philippines-Japan Friendship month. From July 2 to August 11, you can watch free Japanese films at Shangrila Plaza, UP Film Institute, Gaisano South City Mall Davao, Ayala Center Cebu, or Baguio Center Mall.
My favorite Japanese films are those classics directed by Akira Kurusawa, Steven Spielberg's favorite director. His film "Dreams" is a must watch.
