The vision of former president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo is, undoubtedly, doable. What is most important is for the people to really be united in one goal, and one goal alone---modernization.
For modernization to succeed, we, Filipinos, must always think that we are ahead of the competition. That is the first step. We must always think that we are the best and the brightest out there. And why do I say that we are surely the best and the brightest?
We are almost dominating in every field we focus our minds on. We have Filipinos renowned throughout the world as doctors, engineers, mathematicians, biologists, archeologists, IT experts, businessmen, political analysts, military experts and what have you. What's best about us is we infuse better and highly innovative ideas to old and traditional ways of doing things. We invest our time and efforts finetuning what others have discovered, and making it extremely new and useful to the world.
We, Filipinos, are the world's greatest asset.
